An alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Hannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in fall of 2024 from the School of Natural Resources. Majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife with concentrations in Conservation Biology, and Wildlife Ecology and Management, she is excited to continue her passions for the world of natural resources within the HD lab. During her undergraduate, Hannah traveled throughout the East Coast as a CDIP (career discover internship program) intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Massachusetts and Virginia. While there, she learned about how to help local community members find connections to their environment. From those experiences, she knew she wanted to incorporate that same practice into her career. Within her passion of the outdoors, Hannah thrives on mentoring and helping others develop into conservationist; she is looking forward to participating in the creel survey project, gaining insight into the anglers of the state and how to best serve them in relation to assisting fisheries management.
