Some Nebraska farmers and ranchers experience crop and property damage from wild game species such as deer, elk, and pronghorn. In collaboration with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, we survey landowners to assess the extent and tolerance for this damage. Results of this project serve to inform the agency about the public perception of wildlife populations, and serves as as a case study for impacts of wildlife damage in a primary privately-owned working landscape.
